Long time no see part II

I finished the portrait of my love:

Hi pencil, Long time no see

I felt quite frustrated last week, and it took me a couple of days to notice the cause. I love my current school but I miss drawing. I have to assign a couple of hours a week to drawing, otherwise I might become depressed :P.
I started this drawing in real life, but my model kept falling asleep (awww ;)) so I'm going further with the picture. This is what I've got so far:

Changes

Recently I decided to change a couple of things. First of all: my website.
Since I quit artschool I find it difficult to motivate myself to continue drawing and especially painting. I didn't know what I wanted to make myself, after a few years of doing only mandatory assignments for school. Sometimes I accepted assignments from friends or family, but they were mostly vague or subjects I didn't like.

That's why I took the decision to (temporarely) accept only portrait assignments. These can be drawn (with graphite, coloured pencils, markers, charcoal or crayons) or painted (acrylic, ink or oil). Examples can be found in the Gallery.

I also noticed the difficulty of uploading new artwork to my website. In this version I use simpleviewer, which is much easier to handle :).

This homepage will be used as a blog, where I post my progress on artwork I'm working at.
